Hi and welcome! I’m Kimberly, the recipe developer and food blogger behind Fresh Foodie Eats. From the time I could see over the counter (or climb up on a chair to see over the counter) I can remember being in the kitchen helping my mom whip up something delicious. Whether it was baking cookies for hours on end at the holidays or helping prepare a meal for our family, you could find me by her side.
As I grew older, I began to hone in on my skills and interests in the kitchen and prioritize my health and wellness. I realized that eating “healthy” had such a negative assumption that it would taste bland and require you to eat things you didn’t like. Once I started experimenting in the kitchen, I realized I couldn’t have been more wrong. My goal with this blog is to show people that you CAN make healthy food taste good!
I’m also a firm believer in balance! While you’ll predominately find recipes with ingredients that I find make my body feel best, nothing is off limits. Life is too short to stress about something that should bring us joy. Being a foodie is what lights my soul on fire, and I can’t wait for you to experience my passion through food!
